The crash occurred at about noon on Wednesday, March 27 at the entrance from Route 18 to Interchange 9 in East Brunswick, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling west towards the tolls, according to New Jersey State Police. The driver lost directional control and subsequently overturned, State Police said.
The driver sustained minor injuries, police said.
